Terms of Service

By accessing or using query.lab (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

The Service is operated and sold by Mohd Firdause Bin Zainuddin, trading as query.lab. query.lab is a browser-based platform for practicing SQL, Python, and pandas through interactive coding problems, lessons, daily challenges, and mock interviews. Code execution occurs client-side within your browser sandbox — your code is not sent to our servers for execution.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you become aware of unauthorized use, contact us at querylab.help@outlook.com.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your EU member state) to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

query.lab offers a free tier that includes access to lessons, introductory problems, daily challenges, and progress tracking. The Pro subscription unlocks the full problem set across all tracks.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, auto-renew at the end of each billing period, and can be canceled at any time through the Paddle customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.

All payments are processed by Paddle.com as the merchant of record. Paddle's own terms and conditions govern billing relationships. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds and withdrawals.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the Service's underlying content or test solutions.
• Share, resell, or sublicense your account or Pro access to others.
• Automate access in a way that overloads or disrupts the Service.
• Submit code intended to exploit, harm, or disrupt other users or the platform.

The query.lab platform — including problems, lessons, exercises, design, and all associated content — is owned by query.lab and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit the content.

Code you write and submit while using the Service remains your intellectual property. By submitting code for grading, you grant query.lab a limited license to execute it within your browser sandbox for the purpose of evaluation and feedback.

The Service, including all code execution, grading, and feedback, is provided without warranty of any kind. Code execution occurs in a browser sandbox and may produce unexpected results. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, query.lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

This does not affect rights you may have under mandatory EU consumer protection law that cannot be excluded by contract.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your activity poses a risk to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ireland, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. EU consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Directive are not affected.
